Good news for High Street Agents

One of the UK’s largest on-line estate agents Emoov has announced that the business has gone into administration. The firm was the closest rival to Purplebricks, however since 2009 the company has been losing money.

The business model of paying commission up front, with no incentive to the agent to sell, proves that the traditional agents with pro-active marketing are key to selling properties. The fact that the business has failed also shows signs that the housing market is becoming tougher, and only the smartest and forward thinking business’s will thrive.
