On behalf of all associated with The Haven Wolverhampton may I take this opportunity to thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity. We couldn’t be more grateful for your support.
In that sense, volunteering is of mutual benefit – we gained a lot from your practical help but I hope your volunteers also gained by learning about the urgent need for places like The Haven, and the reality of domestic violence. Likewise, I hope they enjoyed having a day out of the office.
Please, send a massive thank you to the 3 volunteers who participated in the corporate project at Shirlin and please, let them know that their kindness will bring much happiness to women and children escaping Domestic Violence. It is only thanks to the support of organisations like yourselves and the community that we can make their stay in our hostels much easier and continue running vital services for them.
Once again, thanks a lot for your support. We are looking forward to continue working together in different projects and activities in the near future. In the meantime, let me also say what a pleasure it was to work with you. This project would have not been possible without your support and outstanding organisational skills collecting the ID forms and confidentiality agreements!!
