It’s part of our job to understand communities in order to sell homes within them and we’ve had the benefit of working with thousands of people across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Wolverhampton. We’re now a longstanding part of these regions and it felt right to give back.
So, in August, BE in the Community kicked off with an inaugural shift at a popular soup kitchen, run from the Darlington Street Methodist Church in Wolverhampton.

Our role was to assist the full time volunteers by serving food and drinks to a variety of under priveleged people. It was a real eye-opener to part of our society that we don’t get to see so much and we met some well mannered, interesting and intelligent people. It was a really worthwhile exercise which we all enjoyed immensely.
Later this month, we will announce our next BE charity who we hope to support over the next 12 months through various fundraising and support activities.
