Basic payment scheme
The land is registered and has been used to support claims for Basic Payment Scheme. The Vendor has claimed and will retain the 2021 payment in full. The purchaser will indemnify the vendor against any losses to the 2021 payment which are due to the purchaser failing to comply with the scheme rules for the remainder of the scheme year.
The entitlements will be transferred as part of the sale of the land for use from 2022 onwards.
The property is currently not entered into any agri-environment schemes, however it was previously entered into an Entry Level/Higher Level Stewardship Scheme due to an area of the land being particularly species rich.
