Alveley is a pretty Shropshire village ideal for commuters, located approximately 7 miles from the historic market town of Bridgnorth. The village offers a good range of local facilities including a post office, local church, convenience stores, schooling, playing fields, sports clubs and a selection of country pubs. Of particular note is the Severn Valley Country Park which is only a short walk from the barn. Providing miles of countryside and riverside walks, there is also a small station for the Severn Valley Steam Railway.

Directions:

Leaving Bridgnorth on the A442 towards Kidderminster. After around 8 miles turn left into Daddlebrook Road and continue to the T junction. Turn left into Church Lane, then take the next right into Chapel Lane (signposted Severn Valley Country Park) and follow the lane around a sharp left bend and at the next sharp right bend taking the track on the left handside. Continue up and Hay Barn is the first on the left.
